Happy Hour begins at 4:00 at Barkeater Chocolates. As part of our 15th Anniversary Celebration, we’ll guide you through a flight of local beers by Northway Brewing. It will include their limited run Chocolate Caramel Beer created in collaboration with Barkeater. We’ll pair it with one of our delightful chocolate caramels; along with other tasty beers and treats. Once we guide you through this tasting, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without chocolate beer.

Beer and Chocolate go together like a kiss and a hug. During this guided pairing, we’ll take you through a flight of local Common Roots beers, including the Latte Cup coffee infused beer. Once you’ve tasted their beer with our chocolate, you’ll never go back. It’s all part of our FlavorWow 15th Anniversary Celebration!

This year, we’re offering a special event for kids to meet and mingle with Mrs. Claus. For an hour and a half, children will get to hang with Santa’s Number One helper (though she’ll tell you she does most of the work and gets none of the cookies).
Our interactive event will last approximately 90 minutes and includes hot cocoa and a special Christmas treat for each child. Kids will get to submit questions for Mrs. Claus that they’ve always wanted to ask. She’ll read stories and bestow her wisdom upon everyone.
The event begins at 1:00 on Saturday, December 2, after the North Creek Christmas Parade.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Johnsburg Food Pantry.
Haunted Adirondacks author Dennis Webster will show everyone the audio/visual evidence he has collected over the years of various New York State haunted buildings.
This is an interactive experience where participants can tell ghost stories, listen to ghost stories, look for our chocolate factory ghosts and enjoy FlavorWow™ treats around a campfire. Ticket price includes hot chocolate and S’Mores cups to enjoy by the fire.
We’ll talk about our experiences with the ghosts that roam our chocolate factory and you can tell us about any paranormal encounters you’ve had in the past. We’ll also tell you what different paranormal researchers have found here…and allow time for the hobbyist ghost hunter to investigate. You can walk around our property, our store, exhibit room and experience room, asking questions of your own with your EVP, Spirit Box or Dowsing Rods. We have limited equipment here for you to enjoy as well!
Our store will be open late. If you’re craving sweet treats to take home, you’ll receive a 10% discount in our store on the evening of your experience.
