Now that the world is beginning to reopen, Barkeater Chocolates is excited to announce that our haunted tours and chocolate making sessions are coming back! We are now taking reservations for small groups (3-6 people) starting on July 8.
For our private chocolate making session, you and your immediate family will learn the history of chocolate, where it comes from and the ins and outs of how we melt, mold and make our chocolate here at Barkeater. Hands-on will require gloves, and you can decorate your own, personal chocolate bark with seeds, nuts and more!
Our haunted tour is PG-13, but a fair scare warning, all of our stories and haunted historical facts are true. You and your group can hear the spooky tales of those who have had encounters with our shop ghost, and maybe even meet him or her yourself!
For everyone’s safety, we do require that the groups stay limited to immediate family and everyone wear appropriate masks. All surfaces and items will be disinfected appropriately and staff will remain six feet from customers. And of course, everything you make, you eat!
