Learn how chocolate is made and the history behind this delectable treat. Gain knowledge in the art of tempering and how to work with chocolate. You’ll work with a few different kinds of chocolate and use this knowledge to make a few treats to take home.
Please advise of any food allergies and note that there is dairy in the chocolate we will be using. Students should plan to bring an apron, wear closed-toe shoes and a hat, hair band or other item to put up long hair.
It’s back! The Wine and Chocolate gala sponsored in part by Barkeater Chocolates is a night of…well, wine and chocolates. This is Chapman Museum’s most important fundraiser.
Join us for this fundraising gala to raise money to help local kids who are dealing with financial difficulties after the loss of a parent. We’re teaming up with ADK Winery to bring you an event within an event: a wine and chocolate pairing session.
After Lights On, but before the North Country Singers Concert at Tannery Pond, kids and their parents will gather under our enclosed tent to sip hot chocolate and ask questions of Mrs. Claus. What is it you always wanted to know but didn’t have an opportunity to ask?

Proceeds will go to a local charity – kids and their families will get to shop in our store at a 10% discount the day of our event. Hot chocolate will be delicious!
