It’s the most wonderful time of the year!! Visit the Gore Mountain Region during the peak of Fall Foliage this Columbus Day Weekend and spend your days at the Gore Mountain Harvest Fest. Our booth will be chock full of Barkeater Bark. A delicious, FlavorWow™ stop indeed.
Learn how chocolate is made and the history behind this delectable treat. Gain knowledge in the art of tempering and how to work with chocolate. You’ll work with a few different kinds of chocolate and use this knowledge to make a few treats to take home.
Please advise of any food allergies and note that there is dairy in the chocolate we will be using. Students should plan to bring an apron, wear closed-toe shoes and a hat, hair band or other item to put up long hair.
We’ll be helping Northway Brewing usher in their autumnal brews at their Oktoberfest. We will have a few FlavorWow treats of our own available.
Happy Hour begins at 4:00 at Barkeater Chocolates. As part of our 15th Anniversary Celebration, we’ll guide you through a flight of local beers by Northway Brewing. It will include their limited run Chocolate Caramel Beer created in collaboration with Barkeater. We’ll pair it with one of our delightful chocolate caramels; along with other tasty beers and treats. Once we guide you through this tasting, you’ll wonder how you ever lived without chocolate beer.
